i bought one of these as a used assembled item in a combo. I made a couple of small mods first was making it fit into my rack binning the combo case. second mod was fitting a big rotary switch with a capacitor network coppied from an early orange 100 OD (1980`s spec), third mod like others have done i replaced the first tube using an ECC 81 (12AT7), i feed this amp into a 100watt dummy load. this amp is now feeding into a 400watt stereo set up via the line out, this is simply the best amp i have had in 40 years
