| The KLD FX-Loop is an active effects loop designed as an upgrade kit for vintage tube guitar amps that do not have an effects pedal loop. With this kit, vintage amps can be connected directly to effect pedals. The kit uses two LND150 transistors powered by the high-voltage B+ of the amp. If you want to use time-based effect pedals like modulation, delay, and reverb on many vintage amps without an effects loop, and achieve greater clarity and a fuller dynamic range, it is necessary to insert an effects loop into the amp. The KLD FX-Loop can be inserted not only into all KLD amp kits, such as the JCM 25 and Bassman 25 series amp kits, but also into other vintage amps and their clones that lack an effects loop. All types of effect pedals currently used by guitarists can be connected to these amps through the FX-Loop. |
